KOILAMATI, Mar 26: The two-day 1st inter Teachers Gathering Centre, Nilip Sports meet 2023 organized by Block Primary Education Officer and hosted by Deithor LP School Teachers in Deithor Mini stadium Nilip conluded on Saturday.
The sports meet saw participation of school teachers across the block in various games and sports including Doigrung Koilamati LP School Headmaster Sarsing Teron, Chokihola English school principal P.Narzary and others.
TGC – Deithor, Mera bheti TGC and Chokihola TGC received first, second and third best team award during the final day presentation ceremony from Chief guest Nilip BMC/Block Primary Education Officer Shidhartha Teron.
Speaking at the closing ceremony Teron said, “Sports is about having fun, being physically active, and building coordination and so, to give you an opportunity to display your confidence, patience, zeal and sportsmanship.”
Thanking education EM Richard Tokbi for promoting and supporting the meet, the organisers also expressed their willingness to host such meet next year.
The day ended on a high note with a look of accomplishment and pride on the faces of the management and the participants.
