20 Bn CRPF conducts Meri Maati Mera Desh Programme

DIPHU, Sep 28 The 20 Bn CRPF, Diphu today carried out a Mitti (Soil) Collection in different villages of Chowkihola, Bokajan and Manja blocks of District Karbi Anglong (Assam) under the aegis of ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’s Amrit Kalash Yatra programme of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The programme was carried out in close coordination with District Civil Authorities.
The event was led by the unit Commandant Swarn Singh, unit personnel as well as other govt dept. members along with civilians who took great interest in the soil collection. The Commandant addressed the participants about the importance of the event which was envisaged by paying tributes to all those “Veers and Viranganas” who have made the supreme sacrifice for the country. He also encouraged all about imbibing a sense of pride and unity and made a huge appeal to make “Meri Maati Mera Desh” campaign a grand success.
