BOKAJAN, Apr 30: The Bokajan police on Saturday recovered 262.27 grams drugs during a search operation conducted at Dudu Colony, Lahorijan. The operation carried out at round 1 PM in the afternoon was done as a follow-up action to a secret intel received by the police.
The search was made at the premises and house of Nizamuddin and his brother Amir Ali. The seized substance was found in 20 identical plastic soap boxes.
However, before the arrival of the police party, both the accused fled away. The recovered heroin was seized in the presence of independent witnesses as per the procedure. The market value of the seized drugs is estimated to be around one crore fifty lahks rupees.
