DONGKAMUKAM, May 03: The 2nd batch of the 3-month nurse aide training programme was inaugurated today at Bamonpo College, located under Jengkha municipal board. The event was attended by Bamonpo College principal cum coordinator Jiten Rongpi, health officer Dr. Mahabishnu Tokbi, Sardokpo Ronghang Memorial School principal Maheswar Ronghang, teacher Monjir Enghipi and Kheroni Press Club vice president Dhaniram Tisso.
Speaking on the occasion Maheswar Ronghang said that the training programme does not guarantee govt. job or assistance, but it will help the trainees to remain self-reliant and would also prove to be helpful to society. The certificate provided after completion of the course will help the trainees to get employment in different private hospitals and pharmacies.
Dr. Mahaprabhu Tokbi also said that gaining knowledge is never a waste of time. By completing the course, the girls will be ready with the knowledge and practical experiences which will help them in their future.
A total of 40 girls will attend the training in this second batch.
