PHELANGPI, Mar 31: Heavy rain and a storm today had left several houses shattered in Jirikindeng, West Karbi Anglong.
The sudden play of the fury of nature broke down several trees, and damaged school buildings and residential houses in Taseng Rongkhelan, under Amreng MAC constituency. At the time of filing this report, the exact intensity of the damage to property was yet to be confirmed.
Fortunately, no casualties had been reported so far.
