BOKAJAN, Apr 03: The body of Bokajan LAMPS was reshuffled after a proper election was held. The first phase of the election was held on March 20, in which 15 persons contested.
On March 31, as per the rules of Diphu ARCS, the election for the post of chairman was conducted where Saret Enghi and Kensing Phangcho contested.
Saret Enghi secured 8 votes while Kensing got 7. Thus, the returning officer Rajen Timung and JC Pathak declared Saret Enghi the winner.
Enghi had taken charged of the post from today.
