DIPHU, Mar 01: The Annual General Meeting of the Rengma Naga Cultural Society Diphu Zone (RNCS-DZ) was held in Diphu on Tuesday. This was informed by Rengma Naga Students Union president Thangshi J. Rengma here this evening.
The meeting of RNCS-DZ was presided over by Nasen H. Rengma and recorded by Kegwalo Sebü Rengma, was held at the residence of Sepenga Rengma in PWD, Colony at around 1 pm. Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council Nominated MAC Phenpiga Rengma and RNSU president Thangshi J. Rengma were present at the annual meeting.
On completion of the term of the existing office bearers, the house expressed their gratefulness for their commitment and service and unanimously agreed to proceed with selection of new body. The new office bearers selected to lead the body for the year 2023-26 are Daniel Jishing Rengma (President), Loxmi H. Rengma & Rechinglo J. Rengma (Vice-Presidents), Kegwalo Sebü Rengma (Secretary), Gishang Seb Rengma and Albert Seb Rengma (Joint Secretaries), Songrhe Jishing Rengma (Finance Secretary cum Treasurer) and three advisers comprising of Dagi Seb Rengma, Nasen H. Rengma and Sepenga Rengma.
