DONGKAMUKAM, Apr 06: The Karbi Honghari Amei (KHA) is set to hold its first annual conference at Waisong Playground in Dongkamukam from April 13 to 15. The organisation was formed in the year 2005, but this will be the first time that they will be holding such a grand event.
The Assistant Treasurer of KHA CEC Ajit Ronghang informed that besides the Karbis of Assam, the Karbis of Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh are also expected to attend the meet.
KHA, through a press meeting today also informed that the main aim of the event is to share ideas and opinions on how to take forward Karbi culture, tradition, and customs without undermining others.
On the concluding day of the conference, KAAC CEM Dr. Tuliram Ronghang is expected to attend the meeting as the Chief Guest.
The leaders of KHA also requested all works of life to attend the programme to make it a successful and historic one.
