DOLOMARA, Apr 10: The North East Council (NEC) today laid the foundation stone for different development projects in Dolamara Town, Diring, and Kohora.
Among the projects were an open market shed in Dolamara Town and a mushroom cultivation centre and a Piggery Farm at Diring. Dolamara Town Committee chairman Mongolsing Terang and Asst. BDO Ronjit Burgohain was present at the time event.
DMB chairman Mongolsing Terang while talking to TDE expressed his gratitude to the KAAC CEM Dr. Tuliram Ronghang and local MAC Richard Tokbi and VDC chairman Sarkoi Rongphar for sanctioning the schemes for the benefit of the rural villagers. A man identified as Engleng has donated a portion of his land for the construction of the market shed. He said that whatever area of his has come under the shed will be donated free of cost.
