BOKAJAN, Apr 12: The Bokajan LAMPS authority had disagreed to provide land for the construction of BJP mandal office.

Officials from the Diphu ARO office visited the LAMPS office to survey land for the proposed BJP mandal office. This survey was conducted after the BJP party’s decision to build offices in every constituency. Accordingly, the party’s members approached the Diphu ARO office for land allotment in Bokajan and sent mandals Gayan Langthasa and Dhanuram Kathar.

On the arrival of the mandal, the Bokajan LAMPS chairman Sar-et Enghi and secretary Semson Timung along with VC Horen Engti met them and discussed on the matter. Finally, it was decided that LAMPS office will not grant land for the construction of party office.

The LAMPS authority informed the mandal that they have only 6 kathas of land and there are a lot of things to be done in the near future. Construction of bigger godowns and other buildings have to be done. As such, there is no more space to be allotted to the BJP’s office.
