Residents of Bokajan and its adjoining areas have expressed disappointment after the promise of pit-free roads of the present BJP government is broken. The poor roads not only cause traffic barriers and potholes not only lead to vehicles accidents but also give birth to many medical problems in Bokajan town and its vicinity.
According to locals, the reason behind the problem is due to the increased carelessness and apathy of Public Works Department. The residents also appealed the concerned EM incharge to look into the matter seriously and forward the order against the construction company for immediate action in repairing the road as the government has made it mandatory for all contractors to ensure the maintenance and renovation of roads which they have built, for five years according to the new guidelines.
