Correspondant CHOKIHOLA, Apr 17: A massive thunderstorm hit Proper Panjan of Chokihola under Nilip Constituency leading to the destruction of several houses and properties of the locality on Sunday night at around 11:30pm. Betelnut farms, Rubber farms and at least 3 cattle and 150 houses in total have been roped away by the storm.
The locals are looking up to the KAAC for immediate assistance and urged the local MAC Pobitro Rongpi, Deputy Speaker of the Assam Legislative Assembly cum MLA Dr. Numal Momin and CEM Dr. Tuliram Ronghang to visit the site and extend help to the victims immediately.
