CHOKIHOLA, Apr 22: Bokajan MLA Dr. Numol Momin in presence of local Nilip MAC Pobitro Rongpi today laid the foundation stone for the construction of the road connecting Chokihola Sanglang bridge to Panjan-Merabheti. The road will be constructed through the SOPD-G (Mukhya Mantri Unnoto Pakipath Nirman Achani) scheme for the year 2022-23.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Dr. Momin lambasted the previous MLAs for their ignorance towards the remote areas under Bokajan. He also ordered the contractor to complete the road construction work within 18 months.
MAC Pobitra Rongpi thanked the MLA and also KAAC CEM for taking up various developmental works within his constituency. He also extended his greetings of Rangali Bihu.
The MLA laid the foundation stone for the construction a new guest house at London Baptist Church. It was done in the presence of NKBA Rev. Benting Teron and several church elders.
