HAFLONG, May 02: In a horrific incident, a 24-year old youth was killed on the spot after the bike he was riding collided with a lorry under the Mahur police station in Dima Hasao on Monday evening.
According to eye witnesses, the tragic accident took place at around 6 pm when a bike met with a head-on collision with a lorry coming from the opposite direction along the Haflong Lumding highway. The deceased youth has been later identified as Sumit Haphila.
