DILLAI, May 03: KAAC CEM Dr. Tuliram Ronghang said that the presence of multiple factions of the Karbi Students’ Association (KSA) is making the organisation weak and unpopular among public. He made this statement before media persons after attending the 50th annual conference of KSA being held at Dillai.
He further said that unification of the four branches of KSA is possible if the leaders really want to work together. “We have not seen the unification of the four factions due to the reluctance of the leaders to come together as one organisation,” said the CEM.
The CEM attended the event as the chief guest of the Alumni Meet session held today. Padmashree Dhaneswar Ingti, several MLAs, EMs and MACs as well as many former leaders of the organisation were present in the session. Two souvenir magazines were released by CEM Dr. Ronghang and former KSA president Sing Kro.
Earlier in the morning, several traditional games and sports competitions were conducted among the members of the KSA branch and regional committees.
