BOKAJAN,May 03: MAC Kadom Terangpi along with VDC Chairman Silarson Rongpi and his colleague along with officials of Land and Revenue department of KAAC visited the storm affected areas under Sarupathar Constituency this morning. The team visited the area as per the direction given by CEM, KAAC Dr. Tuliram Ronghang advised Land and Revenue EM to look into the matter. During the survey, locals informed that at least 5 houses were completely destroyed while 50 houses were partially destroyed. The local MAC Kadom Terangpi during her visit stated that the victims will be compensated at the earliest and also handed some aid to the affected families from her end. Further, SK and Mandals also stated that the circumstances would be conveyed to the EM incharge for immediate assistance.
