DONGKAMUKAM/ PHELANGPI, Mar 16: Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council Dr. Tuliram Ronghang laid a foundation stone of a slew of development schemes in his home constituency in his home constituency Bithung Rengthama inside West Karbi Anglong here today.
The foundation stone for the construction of fishery project Amrit Sarovar and Amrit Sarovar CMG both at Menmeji, estimated amount to be Rs 25 lakhs each scheme was first laid by the KAAC CEM. This was followed by Amrit Sarovar ECC (Eri Concentration Centre) at Kollonga and construction of CC brick pavement road in presence of MAC Abhijit Kro, MAC Headsing Rongphar and MAC Phenphiga Rengma, Minority Development Board chairman Prakash Sangma, Veterinary Dev Board chairman Ditolal Hasnu, local VDC chairman Ramson Rongpi and Rongkhang Devlopment Block BDO Reeta Rongpipi others.
Speaking at Menmiji, the KAAC chief said that the construction committee formed must construct the project within the stipulated time. Further, he also stated that the CC brick pavement approach road connecting towards scheme is yet to be completed, and assured an additional amount will be sanctioned for its early completion.
The KAAC CEM also assured for construction of Inspection Bunglow at Menmiji along with boundary wall within this year.
