DILLAI, May 21: The All Party Hills Leaders Conference (APHLC) today constituted two new women wing units under Borjan MAC constituency. The two new units were Upper Ok-Kehai and Chala Kathar PS women wings.
The formation of the new units was led by APHLC Borjan women wing secretary Martina Katharpi and attended by assistant secretary Phudang Rongpipi, Borjan constituency committee president Semson Ingti, secretary Mensing Timung, youth wing president Biren Tokbi, spokesperson Babuson Rongphar and other party workers from the constituency.
For the newly formed unit at Chala Kathar PS (right wing), Ka-et Englengpi was unanimously elected as the president, while Manai Tissopi was appointed as the secretary. Similarly, Momita Terangpi and Sermili Milikpi were appointed as the president and secretary respectively for the Upper Ok-Kehai PS (right wing).
While speaking on the occasion, APHLC Borjan women wing secretary Martina Katharpi appealed to the party workers to work relentlessly for strengthening the party at the grassroots level.
