DONGMUKAK, May 28: 11th Khorsing Terang (former Assam Minister) Memorial Dokmoka Sports Association Annual Men’s League 2023 kick-started today. The tournament is being held at Haberam Rongphar village playground.
In the opening match today, Etpo Taro Memorial FC played against Malong Ari FC. The match was easily won by Etpo Taro Memorial FC with a score of 6-1.
The opening ceremony of the tournament was attended by film producer Dhoniram Tisso, Dokmoka Municipal Board chairman Prahalad Timung, Dokmoka Municipal Board vice-chairperson Rebika Engtipi, GB Prakash Rongphar, and others. Family members of the former minister Rita Engtipi, Pronita Ronghangpi, Dolli Terangpi, and Bikram Engti were also present. The tournament is being conducted by Dokmoka Sports Association. President Bikrom Terang and general secretary Komol Rongphar and his team will look after the overall functioning of the event.
