DIPHU, Jun 02: Diphu Govt. College professor and wife of eminent social worker Augustin Kramsa, Dr. Lily Aye Terangpi has been bestowed with the ‘Women Leading in Education & Entrepreneur Award’. The award was given by the Global Empire Event in association with BizNation TV. She received her award on May 31 during the award function of Icons of Asia & Woman Leaders Forum’s ‘Asian Emirates Dominance Conference 2023’ at Dubai Crowne Hotel Plaza Dubai, UAE.
The event was attended by Managing Director of Empire Events & BizNation TV Udaiveer Singh Bindra, vice president Dr. Nawad Mir Nasir Ali Khan and many other dignitaries from 15 countries including India and Bangladesh. The event was held to discuss about women empowerment, women’s rights, and the role of women in politics as well as the economy.
Dr. Terangpi has expressed his immense gratitude to Global Empire Events and BizNation TV for the award and the opportunity at the international level. He also thanked her husband Augustin Kramsa for his constant support. She also stated that she will continue to work for the upliftment of education and the rights of women in Karbi Anglong.
Karbi Anglong Women Justice Forum (KAWJF) team went to Guwahati airport and welcomed Dr. Lily on her arrival from Dubai. They felicitated her for bringing laurel to Karbi Anglong. KAWJF president Beaulet Beypi said that more learned individuals and intellectuals must come forward, step into the outside world and find out means to give exposure to Karbi Anglong.
