Mohan Rongphar clears UGC-NET in Political Science 2022 December cycle

DIPHU, Jun 04: Assistant Professor Mohan Rongphar currently working in Diphu Government College on a contractual basis, cleared UGC-NET and qualified for Assistant Professor securing 82.66 percentile during the December Cycle 2022. The cut off percentile for unreserved, EWS, OBC (NCL), SC, ST and PWD-VI-UR category is 96.95, 92.04, 92.04, 82.57, 78.67 and 80.4 respectively. According to the data, Asst. prof Mohan Rongphar was able to qualify with maximum percentile under ST category. It may be mentioned that many aspire to become a professor yet many struggle to achieve their goal. However, Asst. Prof Mohan Rongphar will be an inspiration to those aspirants struggling to qualified NET despite him being born to a farmer family.

He was born to Sarthe Rongphar and Ka-et Engtipi on 12 September 1989 at Kiri Rongphar village of Dongmukak. He started his schooling from Krist Jyoti English School, Dokmoka of Karbi Anglong district and obtained his HS and Bachelor degree from Diphu Government College. Later he pursued Master degree in Political Science from Assam University Diphu Campus  followed by a B.Ed degree from Diphu B.Ed College. He also pursued IIP and M.Phil from Assam University Diphu Campus in the year 2016-2018 in the department of Political Science under the supervisor of Dr. Bikash Chandra Das. After a fruitful degree he began teaching at Langhin College, Langhin for two years and later joined the institution where he is currently teaching.
