DILLAI/DIPHU, Aug 04: Under the direction of the Samagrara Shiksha, Assam (SSA) and the Ministry of Education’s Department of School Education & Literacy, a 5-day-long Janbhagidari programme is being organised by Dillai Higher Secondary School. The event is being conducted to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of the New Education Policy (NEP), 2020. The event is conducted in many schools across the nation, especially those schools which are beneficiaries of PM SHRI (PM Schools for Rising India) scheme.
Starting the observation from August 1, Dillai HS School, which is also a beneficiary of PM SHRI (PM Schools for Rising India) scheme, conducted several events in which the students, teachers, as well as members of the School Managing Committee, also participated. Going ahead with the celebration, the school today organised events like Yoga and Mindfulness sessions to make students aware of the importance to have good health, Science Exhibition and a Rangoli competition to give the students a chance to express their creativity.
Zoology Professor from Diphu Govt. College Ranjit Hanse was invited as a judge for the science exhibition competition. Before announcing the results, he had an interactive session with the students and shared ideas on how to preserve nature and biodiversity.
Supriya Nayak and Premi Guwala, Rangtikka Kropi and Nitherika Tissopi and Abbas Ali, Karan Teriya, Nazim Uddin won the first, second and third prizes respectively in the science exhibition competition.
