DILLAI, Aug 06: The 13th edition of the Inter-Amlokhi Sports Association Club League Football Championship began today at the Amlokhi Sports Association Playground, Rongthelu Manja. The inauguration date was fixed keeping in view the 51st birthday of KASA president and KAAC CEM Dr. Tuliram Ronghang. Amlokhi Sports Association president Bapuram Rongpi, Amlokhi Bazar Committee president Bidyasing Rongpi, Manja Development Block BLCC member Jiten Hanse and several GBs from the locality attended the inauguration event.
All together 10 clubs will take part in the league. In the opening match today, Maino FC played against Rongthelu FC. The Maino FC boys dominated the game and thrashed Rongthelu with a 6-2 score to keep the match in their favour. Ratul Teron of Maino FC was awarded the Best Player of the Match Award.
