BOKAJAN, Aug 07: The Khatkhati Super League football tournament 2023 came to an end on Sunday with the final played at Bengnabil Jagruti playground, Khatkhati. The event was conducted by Khatkhati Sports Association in memory of Lt. Sarthe Teron and Lt. Basapi Bongrungpi.
The final match was attended as guests by Sarkari Gaon Bura Babu Bongrung, Bongrung village elder Sarthe Bongrung, GB Gunadhor Gautam, GB Augusto Toppo, social worker Prafulla Goyary, Valentine Toppo ASRF, Mohendro Kurmi, Khatkhati Bazar Committee president Birjit Teron, Bipon Bongrung, Rajbu Teron, Molen Teron and others.
To decide the champion of the year, Donkam FC played against Lahorijan FC in the final match. Donkam FC came out as the winner by scoring 3 goals, while their opponent managed only 1.
Winners received a cash prize of Rs. 15000 along with a trophy, while the runners-up team received Rs. 10000 along with a certificate.
