DIPHU, Aug 13: As per the direction of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) CEM Dr. Tuliram Ronghang and KCS Central Committee president Chandra Sing Kro, the foundation stone of the VIP gallery was laid at the Sengmirjeng Achatai (stage) at the Karbi Peoples’ Hall in Taralangso here today.
The foundation stone laying programme was led by PWD Board chairman Longsing Tokbi who informed that the gallery would be completed within November. He also informed that special instructions have been issued to the contractor and in charge of the construction.
The gallery is being constructed ahead of the Golden Jubilee of the Karbi Youth Festival next year.
