DIPHU, Aug 13: The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) 20 Bn based in Birla, Diphu organised a ralling from KASA stadium to Manja Tinali chowk as part of the countrywide ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign ahead of the Indpendence Day. This was informed by unit Commandant Swarn Singh here today.
The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign rally under the aegis of ‘Azadi ka Ambit Mahotsav’ was led by the unit Commandant ASwarn Singh and assisted by 2-I/C Tilak Raj. KASA general secretary Dr. Pankaj Teron, Akhil Vishnupuria Manipur Maha Sabha (Guwahati) secretary Partha Sinha, Everestar and Assam Gaurav awardee Khorsing Terang, Siliguri Mountaineer Piyali Biswas, and several members of Karbi Anglong Mountaineer Association (KAMA) and Nehru Yuva Itendra Diphu also joined the GRPF team on the occasion, the CRPF Commandant informed.
Further, the CRPF unit Commandant informed that seventy personnel of CRPF and more than 180 civilians took part in the road rally. “People were encouraged and motivated to display the Tiranga on their homes between 13- 15 August 2023. People were also enthusiastic and pledged to make their contribution. The air of nationalism and pride in our Tiranga got into the hearts of people here,” concluded the CRPF 20 Bn Commandant.
