KOILAMATI, Aug 24: The mortal remains of Rukasen Teron, a youth from Koilamti who passed away in Hyderabad reached home today. Family members have expressed their gratitude to KAAC CEM Dr. Tuliram Ronghang for his much-needed assistance in bringing back the dead body.
Rukasen was the son of Honari Teron and Merina Kropi of Sarthe Terang village in Koilamati under Nilip MAC constituency. He was good in his studies and passed his HSLC from Arlong Rupat High School and HSSLC from Eastern Karbi Anglong College. He was fond of music and had participated in several editions of the Karbi Youth Festival.
Due to unsound economic conditions at home and a lack of employment opportunities, he left home to work in Secunderabad, Hyderabad. On August 11, 2023, he felt sick and was diagnosed with jaundice. As his condition worsened, he was admitted to the Gandhi Hospital Secunderabad. Unfortunately, he breathed his last on August 18.
At a time when Honari Teron and family members were in trouble bringing home the body of Rukasen, KAAC CEM provided them with financial help. It may be mentioned that CEM Dr. Tuliram Ronghang has always shown his generosity toward people in need.
