DILLAI, Sep 06: The Bokajan District Committee of the Karbi Students Association (KSA) on Tuesday visited the home of Robin Engti a newly recruited Assam Rifle personnel and felicitated him with a Karbi poho. The visiting team included KSA BDC president Raju Engleng, VP Sarmen Tisso, and other members.
Robin Engti is a resident of Moiso Killing area’s No.2 Kania Bey village under Borjan MAC constituency. He is the eldest child of Dhon Engti and Kareng Teronpi. He was recruited as a personnel of the Assam Rifle in the post of Nursing Assistant under the only seat reserved in the ST(H) quota. He joined the service on 25th January 2023 and has now completed the 7-month basic training course in Shillong.
While talking to TDE, Robin Engti informed that from 2018, he worked for four years as a helper cook in the ARTC Centre in Dimapur. During his stay there, he learned a lot about the requirements of the job. “After three attempts I got the job,” he said.
Robin also said that if there is hard work and consistency, then success can be achieved.
