BOKAJAN, Sep 07: The Assam Jatiyabadi Yuva Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) Bokajan Regional Committee today felicitated Bokajan Higher Secondary School teacher Kalyan Chetia with a phulan gamusa and a citation. AJYCP team visited the school at around 10:30 am this morning and was led by AJYCP Bokajan Regional Committee president Randip Das, member Waisong Terang and AJYCP central executive committee member Jitu Phukon.
Teacher Kalyan Chetia was on Tuesday honoured by the KAAC’s Education Department in recognition of his commendable service in the field of education. He was felicitated during the Central Teacher’s Day Celebration at Diphu Town Hall. KAAC EM Richard Tokbi himself awarded him. The news of the teacher being recognised at the district level brought happiness to the people of Bokajan and the members of AJYCP.
The students’ orgnisation congratulated the teacher and extended their warm wishes for future endeavours.
