DIPHU, Sep 08: Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) CEM Dr. Tuliram Ronghang today flagged off Veterinary Department’s 10 animal ambulances during an event held at Arboretum Cum Craft Center, Diphu. He dedicated the ambulances to the people of Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong.
These mobile veterinary ambulances will travel to all motorable parts of the two districts. The public can call these ambulances whenever their pets and domesticated animals including cows, buffaloes, goats, chickens, pigs and others fall ill. The Veterinary Department’s main target is to address the problems of the farmers in rural areas.
“When you’re pet animals fall sick, you longer need to hire an auto or go to the Vet doctor by exhausting the fuel in your car, just call in the number 1962 and avail free service from these ambulances,” said CEM Dr. Tuliram Ronghang.
MP Horensing bey, MLA Bidyasing Engleng, KAAC Veterinary Department EM i/c D Uphing Maslai, several EMs, MACs, DVO Dilip Mahanta and other officers from the District Veterinary Department were also present.
