DILLAI, Sept 09: The All Party Hills Leaders Conference (APHLC) Borjan Constituency Committee on Friday felicitated Robin Engti of Borsing Bey village who has been recruited as Nursing Assistant with the Assam Rifles.
APHLC Bokajan LA president Semson Teron said that resident of Kania Bey No.2 Borsing Bey village youth who managed to get into the prestigious national force is a matter of great pride and encouragement not only for his family and village but for the entire Karbis of the area which is extremely very backward.
The APHLC Bokajan LA president further made fervent appeal to the youth of the constituency and beyond to take inspiration from him towards and to keep away from indulging in drugs and spending idle times in unproductive activities and habits. “We wish him a prosperous and successful life,” the APHLC Bokajan LA president said.
It may be mentioned that Robin Engti, son of Dhon Engti and Kareng Teronpi of Borsing Bey village, secured the only post from ST (H) category from the entire state of Assam. The youth was felicitated by the APHLC members with Karbi Poho.
