DOLAMARA, Sept 29: Beekeeping training programme was held today at Bapuram Tokbi village in Dolamara, under the Duarbagori MAC Constituency. The programme was held under the initiative of the Industries and Commerce Department, Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC). The training began on September 19 and is in its tenth day today.
During the programme, esteemed guests spoke on the profit gained from rearing bees. They also discussed the scientific methodology of bee keeping and the components that are required for a successful outcome. Residents of Bapuram Tokbi also expressed gratitude towards local EM of Education Shri Richard Tokbi and Industries & commerce department EM Prabhat Ch. Taro for ogranising a platform for developing the society skill.
Industrial and commerce EM Probhat Chandro Taro was joined by Additional Director Mina Terangpi, VDC members John kathar and village headman.
