BOKAJAN, Nov 22: A Unity, Victory & Prosperity rally for Sarupathar constituency was held at Dilawjan playground here on Wednesday.
KAAC CEM Dr. Tuliram Ronghang attended the rally as chief guest. He attended the event after laying the foundation stone of at least seven development schemes.
The programme was led by local MAC Kadom Terangpi and attended by a host of BJP leaders who include Assam Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Dr. Numal Momin, MLA Dorsing Ronghang, MLA Bidyasing Engleng, EM Surjya Rongphar, EMs, MACs along with other delegates.
At least 454 people from Congress, APHLC, UDFS and other independent parties officially joined the BJP party during the rally programme. Karbi artists Robina Kropi, Jyoti Terangpi and Binong Timung also also enthralled the crowd with their beautiful voice.
Meanwhile, CEM also distributed Spray machine to the farmers.
During the meeting, CEM as well as other guests spoke about the development and change seen in the constituency after the BJP party came to power. He went on to say that development concerning road, electricity, water and others will be accomplished within a year to uplift Sarupathar constituency.
