DIPHU, Mar 21:The district administration has denied permission for the proposed conference of APHLC Youth wing which is to be held at Nilip. This was informed by Sersing Bey, APHLC youth wing Central committee president here on Tuesday during a press conference held at the office of District Press Club of Karbi Anglong(DPCKA).
Bey also stated that by denying permission to hold the conference, the district administration is being partial to the opposition party,
further stating that permission was granted to BJP RSS wing to hold a conference at Deopani constituency.
Bey alleged that the district administration is working as an agent of the BJP.
Officials have cited that 144 CrPc has been imposed in Karbi Anglong due to the ongoing HSLC examination due to which permission to hold the conference was denied.
Meanwhile, Bey questioned the district administration as to why 144CrPc was imposed only in Karbi Anglong despite HSLC examination being held accross the state.
He further alleged that the administration has taken this step under pressure of political party or some heavyweight politicians.
He also declared that the youth conference would be held on April 2&3, 2023 and urged all delegates across the 26 MAC constituencies of the district to attend without fail.
