KOILAMATI, Mar 23: Locals of Bithilangso inside Borpung falling under the Nilip MAC constituency have expressed delight over cell towers which are now being installed inside their area.
Locals of the area while expressing their happiness over the progress of tower laying work stated one of their long-demand issues is now beginning to take shape. The villagers stated that once the tower laying works are completed and telecommunication services isi started, one of their biggest hurdles would be gone.“When the mobile network is established, we would not have to walk 5-6 kilometres to make important phone calls for our various needs and purposes,” a villager said.
Further, the villagers stated that they would now get the opportunity to get access to online help for their children and other purposes. “Once the mobile network is operational, we would be able to send or exchange information or updates about our dear ones undertaking medical care or counseling,” an elderly concluded.
