DONGMUKAK, Mar 26: An awareness programme as part of the “Jal Chaupal” was conducted today at Phongbirik Higher Secondary School by the Nehry Yuva Kendra, Diphu in association with Bisokoida Club, Phongbirik. The event began in the morning with a drawing competition for the students.
The main theme of the event was the importance of conserving water. Students were highlighted by the resource persons on the points to remember and practice in daily life as a way to safe water.
Among the guests and resource persons present were Duar Dikharu Mouzadar Biju Tisso, GB Uttomsing Timung, Tekelangjun High School headmaster Dhaniram Rongphar and others.
Oath-taking on water conservation and E-Poster was also done as part of the event.
