DIPHU, Mar 26: The KASA Golden Baby League organised by Karbi Anglong Sports Association (KASA) under the aegis of All India Football Federation got underway at the KASA stadium in Diphu today. The football league was inaugurated by Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council EM Ritesh Inghi.





Beside EM Ritesh Inghi as chief guest, the opening ceremony was attended by KASA General Secy Dr. Pankaj Teron, assistant secretary Prodeep Ronghang, and football secretary Horen Engti among others.
While speaking at the inaugural event, EM Ritesh Inghi lauded the football body and KASA for their initiatives to provide training to youngsters in their early age. Further, EM Inghi expressed hope that the young players would one day bring honour and pride for the entire people.



The organisers informed that a total of 135 players have registered and 16 coaches to ensure the success of the event. Further, they informed that a total of eight teams will play under the U-12 category and seven teams will play under the U-10 category.
Most of teams are from KASA Football Coaching Centre, Karbi United FA, Singhason FA, and from next Sunday teams from Dengoan FA, Dillai FA will also join the league, officials added.
