DILLAI, Mar 29: Two persons were injured after their bike collided with a car at Rongplimplam along the Diphu-Dillai road under the Manja police station here this evening.
According to injured and locals, the incident took place at around 3:30 pm when a bike NL07EB1328 heading towards Diphu collided with a car with the number plate AS09 D9135 coming from the opposite direction at the curve injuring the two bikers.
The injured victims have identified as Moti Kumar while the identity of the second injured person was not verified at the time of filing this report. Both the injured persons have been taken to Diphu Medical College & Hospital (DMCH) for treatment.
Meanwhile, locals have called upon highway authority to install warning signs and other initiatives to prevent accident at the spot which have seen several accidents in the past.
