BOKAJAN, Apr 17: Six selected senior citizens of Bokajan received Bihu gifts from All Assam Jatiyabadi Yuva Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) Bokajan regional committee on the occasion of Rongali Bihu.
The AJYCP Karbi Anglong Committee advisor Horen Engti, AJYCP Central Executive member Jitu Phukon along with dozens of volunteers presented the gifts to senior citizens.
“It gives us joy to help the senior citizens and they appreciated our gesture very much,” the volunteers said while delivering the gifts that comprised of Phulan Gamusa and Memento to six selected senior citizens of Bokajan. Recepients of the gifts include Kareng Rongpipi of Sukhanjan, Dimi Beypi of Bormanthi, Chandra Sing Teron of Hidipi, Robin Kumar Hatiborua of CCI Hatigar,
Senu Phukon and Sarnopova Gogoi informed AJYCP BRC president Sandeep Saikia and Secretary Niloy Duwara.
