BOKAJAN, Sep 04: The 1st edition of the All Karbi Anglong Inter Sub Association Under-17 Boys Football Championship kick-started on Sunday at Hanjanglangso Sports Association (HSA) playground. The tournament is being organised by the Karbi Anglong Sports Association (KASA) and supported by HSA.
The inaugural session of the tournament began with the hoisting of KASA and HSA flags by KAAC EM Surjya Rongphar and HSA president Jeevan Chandra Pathak. Assam Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Dr. Numal Momin attended as the chief guest. Sarupathar MAC Kadom Terangpi, Borjan VDC chairman Sonaram Singnar, and many other dignitaries were also present at the event.
The first match was played by Deihori Rongbonghat Sports Association and Japralangso Sports Association.
