DONGKAMUKAM, Sept 28: Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Rongkhang Co-operative Lamps Ltd Ghilani, near Dongkamukam West Karbi Anglong was held on Friday under chairmanship of Mongol Bey Chairman of Lamps.
Chief guest Ditolal Hasnu Chairman Veterinary Development Board, said that Rongkhang Lamps is one of the most oldest Lamps of the District but it is struggling for existence.
“Therefore the present shareholders and conscious netizens need to come forward to work for it,” he continued.
He even urged a delegation team to meet the Council chief for grants.
The chairman of Lamps in his speech proposed lending rotating of loans among the shareholders in order to get some profit.
He also requested the public not to ask for a donation from the Lamps as it is in a very bad shape.
The General secretary of Lamps Dilip Teron gave a report of the net profit amounting to one lakh fifty seven thousand eight hundred rupees (Rs 1,57800.00) from last year till date.
The meet was also attended by Senior observers Purnima Teronpi, and Jr Inspector Junti Timungpi, Managing Committee members and shareholders.
