DIPHU, Nov 28: In the ongoing Assam State Premier League 2023 match played today, the Karbi Anglong Morning Star FC (KAMSFC) exhibited a brilliant performance to defeat the local team Gobinda Basumatary FC (GBFC). The match was played at 2 pm in the afternoon at Raimona Stadium, Kokrajhar.
In the match played today, the KAMSFC boys sealed the match in their favour from the first half. Goals from SK Vanlalpeka (44th minute) and Bishnu Banali Bordoloi (45+2 minute) gave the team 2-0 lead in the first half. In the second half, the GBFC tried hard to level the score, but could only net one goal which came from Kawilakbou in the 61st minute. The final score was 2-1 in favour of KAMSFC.
KAMSFC is still at the top of the points table with 23 points. On December 7, they will play against Khwrawmdao FC in a home match at KASA Stadium, Diphu.
