DIPHU, May 03: Assam Chief Mxinister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma is visiting Diphu on May 4 to lay foundation stone of various developmental projects for Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong. The programme will be held at Taralangso, Diphu.
The CM will be accompanied by a group of ministers including Education Minister Ranoj Pegu, Finance Minister Ajanta Neog, PHE department minister Jogen Mohon, Assam Legislative Assembly deputy speaker Dr. Numol Momin and others. KAAC CEM Dr. Tuliram Ronghang, MP Horensing Bey and the entire team of KAAC will be present at the time of the ceremony.
KAAC convened a press conference today at the council’s conference hall and informed that the estimated cause of the projects to be implemented after the foundation stone is laid will be around rupees 2503 Crores. The press meeting was chaired by KAAC EM Amarsing Tisso, MLA Darsing Ronghang, EM Madhuram Lekthe and MAC Pobitro Rongpi.
The CM is also expected to visit Dillai to attend the 50th annual conference of KSA.
