DIPHU, May 23: An online mode Essay writing competition on the theme ‘Solutions to Plastic Pollution’ was organized by Assam Science Technology & Environment Council on the occasion of World Environment Day 2023 for classes VIII-XII which is to be submitted to the concerned District Nodal Agency (DNA) of each district on or before 31st May. The competition was restricted to 750 word limits. The winners of the competition will be awarded with a sum of Rs. 5000/-, 3000/- and 2000/- repectively for first, second and third prize.
The competition is organized by Environment Education Programme (EEP)-Assam Cell Environmental Information, Awareness, Capacity Building and Livelihood Programme (EIACP) PC Hub Assam Science Technology and Environment Council Science Technology and Climate Change Department, Bigyan Bhawan, GS Road, Guwahati-05 which is Supported by the Ministry of Environment Forest and Climate Change, Govt. of India.
