Staff Reporter DIPHU, May 27: MLA Bidyasing Engleng distributed healthcare service card Ayushman Bharat Card, PMJAY, MMJAY under Diphu LAC in Conference Hall of Diphu Circuit House under the initiative taken by Karbi Anglong District Administration at 11:00 this morning. The programme was presided over by Karbi Anglong DC Madhumita Bhagawati and attendees include Health & Family Welfare Department Joint Director Borsing Rongpi, Secretary and other prominent leaders.
MLA Bidyasing Engleng while delivering his speech stated that the recipient can avail the healthcare service up to Rupees five lakhs. He also added that the scheme launched solely for the underprivileged which is possible through Prime Minister of India and Chief Minister of Assam and therefore urged the people of Karbi Anglong to issue the card and grab the opportunity. Moreover, the card is entitled to free medical care consisting of nearly 325 hospitals across India including at least four centres at DMCH, Bokolia CHC, Howraghat CHC and even at private center of Manja Catholic Hospital in Karbi Anglong.
