Bicycle stand constructed by CRPF dedicated to public in Amreng

DIPHU, Mar 27: A bicycle stand constructed by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) 20th

Battalion under the Civic Action Programme for the year 2022-23 was dedicated today at Amreng English LP and ME School inside West Karbi Anglong district. This was informed through a press statement by the CRPF 20 BN Commandant here today.

The stand was inaugurated by social worker Kennedy Enghee at the event led by SIC Commandant (AOD) Tilak Raj in presence of Hamren Additional SP Faiz Ahmad Borbhuyan, Headmaster Tinku Hanse, Headmistress Purnima Enghipi, teachers, students and the CRPF Jawans among others.

The Commandant stated that the CRPF has been carrying out Civic Action Programme for the welfare and needs of the underprivileged sections of the people of the twin hills districts of Karbi Anglong. The schemes and facilities that have been provided to the public include waiting shed, resting shed, toilet block, installation of borewell, small bridge, solar street lights, free medical camp and medicines for free, concluded the Commandant.
