BJP mass joining meeting held in Paklongkam

DONGMUKAK, May 18: With the aim of fortifying its reach across the district, a mass joining meeting of the ruling BJP was held at Kehai Ronghang playground in Paklongkam under the Korkanthi MAC constituency here today. Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council CEM Dr. Tuliram Ronghang attended the meeting.
The mass joining meeting was hosted by the Korkanthi Mandal was chaired by its president Doloi Engti. Chief guest CEM Dr. Tuliram Ronghang was accompanied by MP Horen Sing Bey, MLA Dorsing Ronghang, MLA Bidyasing Engleng, KAAC Chairman Raju Tisso, Deputy Speaker Ajit Kumar Atum and several EMs and MACs of the KAAC.
Speaking at the meeting, the KAAC chief announced that free land pattas would be provided to the families of Paklongkam and Dikrutpi to ensure their land security. He urged upon the people of the area to continue their support to the present Team Karbi Anglong for more peace and development.
A total of 120 persons who were supporters of APHLC and Congress merged with the BJP and were given warm welcome at the meeting.
