DONGKA-MUKAM, Mar 14: Assam BJP minority morcha president Santius Khujur attending as the chief guest at 3rd District Minority Morcha Executive meeting at Ghilani, West Karbi Anglong said that over an estimated 5500 educated youths got government jobs in CM Dr Himanta Biswa Sharma’s reign in Assam without giving a single paise.
“It’s a great achievement by us”, the two times Rajya Sabha MP said.
“For many years we couldn’t bring them (Christians) to saffron fold because they can easily be tempted by the opposition parties, but now it is a different story, things have changed. Now at present, a good number of Christian representatives are working in the party,” he said.
“As a worker of morchas, our mission next is to visit every minority house in the next three months,” he finally said.
District BJP president Radip Ronghang also briefed. Presided over by the president of District Minority Morcha Chiniram Rongpi, state secy in-charge Yaspal Singh, chairman of Veterinary Dev Board Ditolal Hasnu, district prabhari Peter Tisso and others also attended.
