BOKAJAN, Nov 28: The Eastern Karbi Anglong College (EKAC) principal was charged by the KSA, Bokajan District Committee, of embezzling the college funds during a press conference held in Hanjanglangso today at 9:30 a.m.
The committee stated that students were not taken for educational tour during Dr. Anil Chandra Das’s tenure as principal. Thus, Dr. Anil Chandra Das’s actions were sharply denounced by KSA President Raju Engleng, Vice President Sarmen Tisso, and Secretary Desoi Teron.
In light of this, the organisation has requested the KAAC Education Department to conduct an urgent investigation into the matter for interest and welfare of the institution.
