BOKAJAN, Aug 20: An eagerly anticipated Boxing Coaching Camp 2023 organised under the aegis of the District Sports Officer Diphu in collaboration with the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) and the Hanjanglangso Sports Association (HSA) kicked off today at Hanjanglangso. The one-month coaching camp commencing from today will be concluded on September 20 next month and is set to hone the boxing skills of young talents at the Hanjanglangso Indoor Stadium.
The opening ceremony, held today at 3:00 pm on the sprawling grounds of Hanjanglangso playground, was presided over by Hanjanglangso Sports Association president JC Pathak. The notable guests that were present on the inaugural event include Joint Secretary of the Assam Olympic Association and Secretary of Golaghat Sports Association Sanjeev Handique, coach and national player Diganta Nath, member of the Sports Organizing Committee Jyoti Saikia, District Sports Officer Rilip Ronghang, HAS Working Secretary Janasing Phangcho, social activist Kangther Bey, KASA Athletic Secretary Rajen Rongpi, Sarihajan Bazar Committee president Hemari Tokbi, KA Seva Kendra assistant secretary Longbi Engti among others.
